I’m a coach, speaker, and church creative with 16+ years of experience working with churches, businesses, and non-profits. Throughout my career, I’ve used my gifts in speaking, photography, video, and live production to empower others to lead with clarity & confidence.
I love working with creatives to help them grow into the confident, skilled leaders that set the standard for your organization's culture. I believe that when creatives invest in their leadership skills AND their technical expertise, the entire organization gets better.

We invited Chess to lead a breakout session at our Annual Conference. Many shared that they left feeling more confident and better equipped with practical strategies they could immediately implement. Whether you’re looking for foundational training or more advanced insights for your team, I would highly recommend Chess!
Working with Chess was a fantastic experience for our team! Every video project we worked on had a unique premise, and Chess always had creative solutions to capture it in a way that beautifully executed our vision. Chess is just a joy to work with!
I always seek Chess for help first. He’s always my first call when I have absolutely any questions or needs when it revolves around my A/V and music ministries. Not only is he knowledgeable, he’s a pleasure and a joy to be around, and makes hard projects seem easy. He’s worth every penny we’ve paid him and tenfold.
Chess strategically assesses the unique needs of his clients and customizes his content & coaching accordingly. He has really helped our team learn and apply functions of different technological platforms to streamline communication and maximize efficiency.
Chess helped us turn our “thrown together” sound, set and production booth into a full-fledged unit. Our production volunteers feel more equipped and more excited than ever to continue learning and exploring thanks to the skill set Chess has shared with us. Our Sundays look, sound, and feel MUCH more intentional!
Having someone like Chess who understands the tech, execution, and the Holy Spirit’s role in ALL roles of services has been an incredible advantage in helping grow ministries and further the Kingdom-building legacy of Jesus.
